Three Characteristics of Winners

So you want to be a winner in this industry? I guess that there would be something wrong with you if you didn't want to be a winner but knowing what you should do to become a winner can be difficult if you have come into this industry from the wrong background.

Basically if you want to be a winner here you either have to know how to hustle right from the get go or quickly learn the art of the hustle because, if you don't, you will find it hard to succeed. It took me a while to learn how to hustle and that certainly held me back for a few years.

Back then things were a little slower so I survived but these days few people can last that long. So if you need to learn how to hustle, or you just want to become a winner here are three characteristics of people who are successful online marketers.

Be Different
The online marketing space, whether you're doing adult or mainstream, is filled with competitors. Everyone and their dog think that they can make a buck selling stuff online but sadly all that most of them do is get in the way of those who can make buck selling stuff.

Even those who do make money online tend to do it in almost exactly the same way as everyone else so if you want to make money here spend some time looking at how your competitors are doing it and then work at finding a way to do it differently.

Of course all those competitors who are selling things in the same way are doing it because it obviously works but is there some other way that could work just as well? Maybe those other ways may take more time but perhaps they might lead to more sales just because you are doing it differently and that difference makes you stand out from the crowd?

Do some testing and if you see some positive results don't be afraid to do it differently to everyone else.

Take Action
Sometimes we are our own worst enemy when it comes to making money online. We see an opportunity, we have a great idea for something that will really work, but we're not sure. We hesitate, we want to think about it some more, maybe do some more testing.

We want to wait and see what happens, we're scared that maybe our great idea won't work so we back away from it when what we should be doing is taking action. We have the great idea, we've done the research, we've done the testing and everything looks positive so don't be afraid. Don't be scared! Take action!

If you don't take action when everything is in alignment then someone else will. Just because you have had a great idea doesn't mean that someone else hasn't had the same great idea and isn't prepared to display more courage than you so take action before someone else does!

It doesn't have to be perfect
Over in mainstream they have a term that I have never heard used here in adult although I certainly have seen the results here. Over in mainstream they talk of a minimum viable product; a product that is not perfect, not totally complete but one that will work, will be attractive to consumers, and can be improved on in the months and years ahead.

So over in mainstream an entrepreneur will release a product that will do the minimum amount but will still be what people want to buy. They don't wait till the product is fully developed and tested; they don't aim for perfection. They aim for something that will sell and once they begin to make sales they can then move on to the next version of product.

They may never achieve perfection, they may be continually improving their product but that's ok because it's out there in the market place and people are buying it with the knowledge that improved version will be released in the months and years ahead.

Sadly here in adult we tend to see a minimum viable product that never gets improved but over in mainstream they release a basic model and then go on to improve it. Of course they could hold their products back till they are perfect or have a lot more bells and whistles but there are two major problems with that idea.

The first problem is that someone else may be developing the same product and could have their version on the market first. When that happens whoever arrives second struggles to make sales.

The second problem is that their potential market may have evaporated by the time they get their product out and when that happens the product just flops.

So if you want to be a winner, be different, take action and don't aim for perfection. Can you do that? It sounds easy but being bold enough to be different and to take action can be quite a challenge.
