It's Worth It

You may not think so if selling your sponsor to Joe Surfer is not resulting in a lot of money in your pocket right now but the time you spend here is so definitely worth it.

Sure, you may not be making a lot of money but you are getting some incredibly valuable lessons in marketing that so many people over in mainstream are totally missing out on. Here you are learning how to sell a product that some, including your sponsors, are giving away for free.

Here you are learning how to sell the same old thing into a totally saturated market that is completely hooked on free stuff.

Here you are learning to market your product with a very limited amount of marketing that is strictly controlled by the people who have the traffic that can make you rich. Hell those guys and girls who control the traffic make sure that it's hard to make a buck by limiting the amount of marketing that you can do on your galleries and free sites because they want to earn money from your efforts.

You have too little marketing and they're happy ... but you don't make any sales. You have too much marketing and they totally choke your traffic to the point where you have none and, of course, no traffic means no sales.

Yep, if you can make a buck here in adult then you can certainly make even more over there in mainstream. Over there they think that lots of fluff and bullshit will make them money. They think that it's important to use big words that most of their market won't understand because that will make them look important and their importance will impress their potential customers.

Here you may not have heard of the CPR of copywriting but you have learned to follow it. Over there some of them have heard of it but they simply don't believe it.

Here you have learned copywriting the hard way. Over there in mainstream most of them simply don't believe what the true copywriting experts want to teach them.

So what is the CPR of copywriting that you know but don't know?

CPR is a simple acronym that sets out the three factors of good copywriting ... three factors that are guaranteed to put money in the pockets of anyone who follows them. Three factors that working in the adult industry has taught you and that you can use anywhere.

So what are the three factors that are covered by the CPR acronym?

C is for concise text. Text that plainly sets out the story and the value proposition without resorting to fluff and bullshit. Here in adult you learn about being concise because you have to be concise. You can't waste words in a gallery. You have to limit them and make every one of them work for you.

You have to use words that your market will understand and words that won't confuse them. All too often, over in mainstream, they think that the bigger the words they use the more chance they will have of impressing their customers and closing a sale. They don't believe that big words tend to make their potential customers look for the back button to escape the bullshit.

P is for personality. Here we know that we have to be ourselves and speak to our potential customers in a way that makes them feel comfortable and relaxed about spending their money on what we are trying to sell them.

We know that we have to speak to them in plain, everyday language but not so the guys over in mainstream. Over there so many of them think that the more pompous they sound, the more they talk down to their market, the more full of shit they can sound the more they will impress their market and make money.

And they wonder why they aren't making sales and all the traffic they get is leaving their site almost as soon as it arrives.

R is for resonance. They text you write for your adult sites needs to resonate with the people who visit your site. In the few words that you can fit into your site you have to touch all those surfers' pain points and provide solutions and the answers that they are searching for.

Over in mainstream so many people seem intent on telling the world just how good they are ... not offering solutions to their surfers' pain. In mainstream they also want to tell you how important they are and how blessed the common people who visit their site should feel just because the wonderful website owner is going to make their lives so much richer.

Of course that quickly turns many people off and they leave without buying a thing and leave the website owner wondering why their potential customers are so ungrateful.

Yes, working in this industry and going through the struggle to make mnoney is definitely worth it because you have learned the CPR of copywriting without realising what you were doing. Now you know what you know and you know how to apply it you can go out and make money anywhere online ... starting here is definitely worth it.
