Need a quick and easy way to learn how to build the sites and galleries that may start ot make you money in this industry?

Here are a few tips that might help you move from raw beginner to minor money-maker a whole lot faster than I got there. While some of these tips were given to me when I first started out there's one here that I wish I had known when I first got started. If only I had known it when I first started I would have been making money a lot sooner than I was.

1. Don't be a smart ass
I'll get to that ip in a moment but there are a couple of other tips I should give you first and the very first one is a warning ... don't try and cheat your way to success. In the beginning your success will depend on how much traffic you can get to your websites and galleries and you will depend on link lists and TGPs to send you that traffic.

Those traffic sources that are so important to you have rules and, if you want to get your sites and galleries listed on those traffic sources you will have to follow their rules. You may not like their rules, you may wonder why they bother with rules and you may not understand why they need some of their rules but you are not in a position to question those rules.

If you want their traffic then you will follow their rules and you won't try to cheat or skip around those rules. The moment those guys catch you cheating ... and they definitely will catch you ... is the moment you start to crash and burn. If you don't follow their rules then they won't list your sites and you won't get traffic and without traffic you won't get any sales.

2. Remember where you are in the pecking order
When you start out in this business you are at the bottom of the heap. That means that you will rely on everyone you encounter for helpful advice, support, encouragement and help.

No one has to give you that help, no one is obliged to give you any advice, no one is forced to give you the encouragement and support you will need if you are going to survive and reach the point where you will begin to make money.

So be polite, be pleasant, appreciate the help people are giving you and don't act like a dickhead because the moment you start acting like a twat people will stop helping and you will disappear from the industry without a trace and no one will care.

Understand that your chances of survival here are not good so don't make them even worse by acting like a total idiot. 3. The easy way to learn how to make money
Moving from rank beginner to someone who can actually make money here involves a steep learning curve. You have to ditch your preconcieved ideas ... and everyone has them ... and start learning how things are really done.

Of course you can ask questions and you can experiment and test ... they are all things you should be doing ... and there is something else you can do too. You can start looking at the sites that have been built by people who really are making money.

If the thought just popped into your head that maybe you could copy those sites and put them up as your own then lose that thought sometime in the next heartbeat because you will be caught and then your days in this industry are numbered.

People who have been in this industry for a while have a tendency to look out for each other and, if a link list owner or a TGP owners spots a free site or gallery that a newbie has copied from someone else, there is a very good chance that they will let the original site or gallery designer know that you are ripping off their work.

So when I tell you to go and have a look at the websites and galleries that more successful webmasters have built I am not telling you to go and rip them off. What I am telling you to do is to go and look at the layout, the wording and the colors that have been used. I am telling you to look at the images that have been used and the marketing tools that have been included.

Take not of how and where they appear and the number of times the person who built the site included ads. Read the text that he or she has used, does it paint a picture? Does it encourage you to buy what they're selling? The words you will find on those websites and galleries can teach a lot about how to reach out to people you don't know and can't see but who might just buy what you want to sell them.

Look behind the outer skin of the site and examine the code too. That can sometimes teach you some important lessons about what is good code and what is not so good.

Sometimes a website or gallery that has been built by an experienced webmaster can teach you a lot more about how to make money than if you had been able to sit and talk to him or her face to face. Examine it closely, ask yourself why the person who built the site did things in the way they did.

Why did they choose certain colors and why did they choose certain words? Why did the choose the images they used and not others? There is so much to learn from a successful webmaster's work if only you care to take the time to study what they have done and look beyond the obvious.

So there are three tips for you to help you make money fast. You may not make a lot of money in the beginning but you will begin to make money faster if you take the time to do things the right way.
