What's Outside the Box?

Have sales been down lately? Your sponsor checks not been as big as they once were? Maybe you're starting to struggle just a little?
If you have been finding any one or all of those scenarios something of a close fit to what you're experiencing them I'm sure that you will have already seen the sage advice that so many people want to give those in situations like yours. Heck I've even been known to give it on more than one occasion.
People will look at you ... display all the outward signs of critically analysing what you've been saying ... and then tell you that it's time to think outside the box. The only problem is that most of those who want to give that advice don't bother telling you where the boundaries of your box are or what you might think about that's outside those boundaries.
Obviously the only person who really knows what the boundaries of the box that you're in right now are is you. Of course, some people who do know you might have some idea of where those boundaries are but for the rest of us gurus, pundits and wannabe's ... well we can only guess.
And it's the same situation when it comes to talking about what might be outside the box for you. If we don't know you personally then we can only guess.
With that in mind let me offer you two suggestions that you might consider if you want to think outside the box ... while both will still keep you in the porn box one is less radical than the other.
A different kind of porn
Obviously if things are a little tough one way to start getting the money flowing again is to try a different niche ... or niches ... and I'm guessing that you might have already tried that without a great deal of success.
Let's face it, changing niches can be hard and finding niches that aren't already saturated is almost impossible but maybe you will be lucky and find one where your marketing message will really resonate with your traffic.
But if you've tried and haven't had that kind of luck then maybe it's time to try a completely different kind of porn and here's one that I came across today that would be of interest to both male and female porn surfers ... and couples too.
It's a website that teaches a variety of sexual techniques and if it looked interesting to someone like me then it's sure to appeal to a lot of people out there. The site was called ErosExotica ... search for it and I'm sure you will find it ... and then start looking for other sites out there that deliver a different kind of porn and offer affiliate programs because that may be where your future income is waiting to be found.
Become the content
Remember I said earlier that there was a radical suggestion that may well be outside your box but still inside the general porn box? Well this is it.
This is where you ... or your partner ... become the content and you build an amateur site around you or your partner. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun?
Well if the first thing you thought of was the fun aspect of doing something like that let me rain on your parade right now. Yes, it is fun but it's also a huge amount of very hard work and there are social aspects both now and in the future of being your own content that should never be brushed aside and once you think about them you may decide that this idea is not for you.
When you or your partner become the content then you're out there on the Net ... you become known ... people will recognise you and even after you have retired, what you did online may come back to haunt you years later.
There's also going to be a strain on your relationship with your partner and that needs to be considered carefully before you or your partner jump in front of the camera with someone else. Even if you have a very open relationship ... and from what I've seen most adult webmasters don't seem to have anything like that ... there will be times of tension that you need to be able to work through.
But if you think you can handle it then go ahead and give it a try. Even if you are a single guy there are perfectly legal ways of getting plenty of willing babes to have sex with you on camera without it costing you a cent ... all you have to do is come up with a believable theme for your website and start amassing content because you would not want to launch your own paysite without plenty of primary content.
So there are a couple of suggestions of what might be outside the box for you. I'm sure that there are plenty of other things you could be doing to make money here in porn, all you have to do is think outside the box.
